Talking Points for Launching of Cuban-Tanzania Friendship Society

The Cuban-Tanzania Friendship Society was launched on January 25, 1988. During the launch, Dr. Salim spoke about the strong ties between Cuba and Tanzania and refers to President Nyerere's visit to Cuba (4 times) as well as President Fidel's visit to Tanzania. Dr. Salim refers to his own times in Cuba when he was there from June 1961 to April 1962 as well as the period he served as Ambassador to Cuba while he was posted at the United Nations.
