In a letter dated September 28, 1981 the Chairman of the Group of African States in the United Nations, Ambassador Mohammed Bedjaoui of Algeria informs the President of the General Assembly of the unanimous support for Dr. Salim by the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the Organization of African Unity. That meeting took place in Nairobi from June 24 - 27.
